BPH supply Commercial Marine Piling (CMP)

BPH Equipment supplied Commercial Marine Piling (CMP) a Crawler Crane and Piling Equipment for Weymouth Harbour wall project.

Essential upgrades to Weymouth Ferry Berth 3 were indentified last summer resulting in Condor Ferries which operate to the Channel Islands moving its Weymouth service to Poole as a temporary measure.

CMP will replace the existing quay wall on behave of BBRCE by using a combi wall system, 14 metre long, 1422mm diameter tubular piles and AZ18 sheet piles for infills.

Scour protection works to stop erosion on the sea bed will also take place in due course.

BPH Equipment supplied CMP a Kobelco CKE 1800 (180ton) Crawler Crane and various piling equipment for the project which included a PTC 30HV and a CX85 Impact Hammer.
