BPH Equipment returns to Blackfriars Station

Our cranes have returned to Blackfriars Station until 2012

After completing its first round of work at Blackfriars Station in November 2010 BPH Equipment recently returned to the new landmark station, the first railway station to span the Thames.

Currently it is supplying five Kobelco CKE700 with the starting dates between late January and early February and lasting approximately until mid 2012.

All the cranes supplied are fitted with the Wylie Systems i3500 Virtual Wall Safety feature which allows the operator to input all the various parameters of the sites hazards and will then only allow the crane to work within its own safety zone.

On the confined site, the cranes will be positioned on a bridge over the River Thames and operate adjacent to a live railway. Since they will remain in position for service and maintenance as well as operation for a prolonged period of time, safety and reliability is of paramount importance.
